Just a random thing I made

Today's fractal appears to me as the lava stricken surface of a distant planet. Seeing these holes on the surface of this fractal reminded me of lava tunnels. I found this one with an incomplete bridge

I was inspired to make this based on the fractal image I created two weeks ago titled blood_tower. I purchased a piece of music I like and thought was fitting to the darker theme of this piece. Lorn -

I love the atmosphere of this one. Definitely going to explore this structure and probably make it into an animation. Made with Mandelbulb3D and After Effects.

Sometimes things work out. This was one of those times. I had been struggling with parameters and lighting and was about to give up with mb3d for today. I took what I had into after effects, did some colour

Tried mixing the fractal render with a real world photograph. There's a lot wrong with it and I don't want to spend any more time fixing things so here it is in this state.

It's Fractal Friday (here in Australia at least) I Found some neat landscapes using the 'Beth1661dual' formula within Mandelbulb3D today. I tinkered with the lighting and object color until this caught
