Offgrid Investing - Got Smashed Today!!! - Day Trading Error

I was doing really well day trading today until I made two big errors.

The first error was trading too much. I was up nicely in the first half of the trading day. Then my ego kicked in and I felt I could do know wrong.

This led to the second error which happened on Apple. I made a trade and was raising my stop as the stock inched higher. Then it reversed direction and rather than getting out and taking the loss. I kept thinking "come on Apple reverse."

I violated one of my rules as rather than rely on the charts I relied on "hope" and the stock continued to move down. I ended up selling the stock much lower than I should of.

Thus, I took one big loss for the day which wiped out all of my profits and I took the biggest loss I have taken day trading so far.
