Wear

Would I be a stone in the river,
rather than the grinding water,
it is the crashing against other stones,
being thrown back and forth,
entrained again then left alone,
that compelling flow of pain,
that in the end will shape me,
smooth and polished.

Bram Vermeulen, (composer, poet, comedian, painter)

Number 114 in the continuous series "All In One Stone"
