The Accidental VIP

If everyone thinks I am a guest of honor I would start my opening speech by acknowledging the presence of the board of directors without mentioning any names because I do not know any of them. Followed by stating random proverbs like 'Time is Gold' and 'Strike while the iron is hot' and expand on it and after a minute has passed I will slowly shift the focus of my speech to praise the foods, drinks and the venue before I close the speech saying 'Enjoy the night'
