I changed my life in this recliner.

Maybe that a bit of an overstatement, but literally, this chair has been my bff this year.

If you've been a client or Zoomed with me, you've probably seen glimpses of me sitting here.

The lighting sucks and it's not the most "professional" place, but it’s where I started.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The fact of the matter is, when I started Doing it Despite, it came from my heart and soul. It was something that had to happen and I was called to do. So much so that even though I didn’t really know how to begin or what to do first, I just kind of sat down and figured it out.
I started by researching and investing in coaches and programs that I knew had experience in the area I was struggling with and who could get me where I wanted to go faster than I could go it alone (and a lot less painfully).
Were the investments high? Yup. But the fear of staying where I was at in the moment was higher than the risk of trying.
Fast forward lots of long days later and the hours spent in this chair are endless.
Fuzzy socks and slides have been present, yes, because my fashion game during 2020 has really flourished (not).

But what has flourished is my ability to help others. What has flourished is my ability to help women make massive shifts in their lives. What has flourished is the confidence I have in DID and where it is going/what the heck it even is.

So shoutout to La-Z-Boy and the brown recliner for getting me going... and all of my amazing coaches along the way.

Don't be afraid to start small and start messy. Be afraid of what happens if you never take a step towards what you’re called to do because you're afraid of what you might look like while you're figuring it out.
