I wrote this one after being inspired by reddust@reddust's artwork. It's something out of a fantasy and caught my eye........ special stuff. Check the original artwork in this post her: https://steemit.com/art/@reddust/chickenosaurus

There was this idea of a warrior bird
Perhaps a reptile but was of never heard
Seeing it was truly a revelation
Creation had never before such a divination

From far came a battle cry
They wanted to see this battle bird fly
It was said, know not fear from a chimera
Whose feathers are of the texture of primavera

People couldn't believe what they saw
It held them in it's thrall with awe
He was innocent like a child's imagination
And yet a warrior standing on top of creation

A sweet child did approach the Chickenosauras
But the people saw this meeting as disastrous
Oh for such parodies to be heard they cried
Never before a child on a creature like this has flied

The warrior bird was admired by them all
Yet they couldn't hear the little child's call
Jealousy of it's strength and fear at them ate
But the innocence of child and bird did resonate

Little did they care of this jealousy
Call them rule-breakers of hearsay
They had found each other and their calling
To fight demons from the skies that were falling

His Shiny Talons kept the evil at bay
Her innocent courage drove the darkness away
Day by day the learned from each other
Love and patience and not a hint of smother

The days of great adventure went on and on
To the tune of battle bird and the girls song
