I would recommend TOR browser as a privacy centric solution for internet browsing. The common interface of Tor is very similar to Firefox. So if you are already using Firefox then you can very easily transition to Tor. If you are not familiar with Firefox and use Chrome or Safari or any other browser, even then you don't have anything to worry about.

Tor is easy enough to use and you can simply download it from their website (https://www.torproject.org/torbrowser). Tweak it as you see fit and you are a ghost to the common digital eye. There is also a mobile version available forTor and you can easily set it up for an android smartphone.

Do remember that there are no fool proof ways for the common folks (with only a moderate knowledge of the internet) to be completely invisible on the Web. But there are ways to achieve a basic level of digital privacy.

One of the ways is to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) service combined with the Tor browser. This will get you some decent amount of privacy and at the same time make your digital footprint very small or at least a bit difficult to trace.

Last but not the least - Be safe and be wise. A lot can be solved with a clear mind and a good heart :-)
