Introducing moi-même(my self)
I am Avode Elizabeth Maotin, does the name sound familiar? I bet you wonder where this girl is from, not to worry I'll help you answer, I'm an halfcast😀 yeah! But in the African way. My dad is Nigerian someone else is wondering so how come you bear Avode well I'm from one of the few tribes called "Gun" we speak Gungbe as our local dialect and we can be found in Lagos state(Badagry) and Ogun state(Ipokia), care to know more about us kindly check up on Google. Now back to me been and half cast someone is still doubting, well my mum is from the Republic of Benin, I hope you now know where I got the unique name from.
I want to believe my background is one of the reasons I developed interest in the french language and of cause I love what I do as a french instructor. I graduated from Tai-Solarin University of Education (BA.ED) french and literary studies.Why french of all courses was what my friends asked me, how did you switch from wanting to be an accountant as kid to been a french educator? I think God has a different pand I'm absolutely available for business with teaching la langue française and of course translation.
I won't forget to mention my love for food, a lot of people don't believe me when I say I went for culinary studies in 2021 (it's intercontinental dishes before someone thinks I can't prepare my local meals), I don't blame them I haven't been all out like Hilda," but trust me when I say someday I will launch L'harvodey restaurant and you will absolutely love it. But for now I'm taking my time to get used to my new environment maybe I'll talk about that some other day.
I can't finish my introductory speech without mentioning singing 😲, I do this mostly when I'm alone, I remember my guitarist friend during NYSC 'Chris' always asking me to follow him to the studio but the shy girl won't go out you can imagine, I'm sure I've out grown that now and won't waste such an opportunity. You may think I dance too cause I love music sorry! I just vibe to the tune, I love listening and to sing, maybe because I'm a good listener even to the people around me, you can always talk to Lizzy, though she is no talkative but will always be there to hear you out.
It's absolutely lovely to be here and I must appreciate
