I like colour, that means I often struggle in a grey overcast light conditions, I live in the land downunder, so this isn't much a problem for me, even our winters tend to have sun, endless grey days don't really happen much.
But this was the case when I was in Wellington NZ recently, it was grey and there was misty rain around, so my trademark deep shadows didn't really works for me, but what did work was the striking road markings that they have, combine that with wet asphalt and you have yourself so very striking visuals.
