Or is it Donostia?

It seems weird that this was not what I was expecting, I guess I should have I mean it's a city on the North coast of Spain, of course there would be water, or course there would sandy beachs, blue sky (well blueish) and water.

I wasn't expecting the hill of course, I knew there was a headland, but I assuming, a nice gentle Australian style hill, not this.

And maybe again it's about being Australia but somehow I also didn't expect the beach culture to exist so close to classic European building. People in bikinis and carrying beach umbrellas walking past 400 year old building, a best in Australia you might get a 100 year old weatherboard house, but really every piece of land within walking distance of water is bought up and rebuilt here.

I needed more time, time to explore the other two beaches, time to spend a day, or two or three siting on a beach without a care.

And the Buildings, I need to see what that thing with the lawn is, and the tower, the steeple and the this and that.

And more nights, more nights to eat tiny food on beard, a drink beer.
