I've been known to frequent the Melbourne University ground, usually on a weekend camera in hand looking for scenes built of hundred year old buildings combined with modern angles.
But this time I'm in Sydney, early on a Thursday morning, long before any right thinking student is even awoken let alone jumped on a bus and made it to campus.
Nope, it's just me, the sun rising in the East and the buildings of UTS, certainly not a hundred years old, maybe someone of it is 40 or 50 but most of it is new, and in the way that new buildings are they are curved and organic and filled with coloured strikes.
But it is not this I'm interested in, give me a low sun and long shadows any day of the week and I'm happy, and this morning, early, pre breakfast, I'm a happy man.
