Night photography often relies on colour, the neon lights, the reflections off the water or in the mist, the warms of the yellow lights warming the photos but what if you remove the colour. What if you concentrate instead on the shapes, the textures, what if you find stars in the city?
What if you strip off the blue and red lights, turn that back to grey concrete, make the streetlights the stars, little starbursts along the bridge.
What if you concentrate on the shapes, so odd in this landscape requiring a sparser field or a larger scale.
