I hope you are all doing good.
Another day with another life quote by ‘Babe Ruth’ :
“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”
A few words about this quote :
I agree with this quote completely. A lot of time in our life we have to come out of our comfort zone and try something that we are not comfortable with and are feared for failing. This could happen with anyone at any age.
I can co-relate this to my life. If I start from my childhood. If I remember correctly, first such situations would have been learning cycle riding. This was a new things and was looking very dangerous at first.
But I gathered the courage and started learning it. It was a huge step for me as a kid and eventually I overcame the fear and learnt it and I have been enjoying the result till date.
Coming out of comfort zone was rewarding 😀
There are similar situation till today. Most recent was a job change. I was very comfortable in my previous job. As I work in technology so if you are in one job for quite a some time, you could feel like left behind because there are lot of new technologies emerging everyday. When I thought of changing the job, I was afraid of failure as I thought that I have become obsolete. But i overcame the fear and put in extra effort to learn the new technologies. And my efforts are rewarded with a great new job 😀
So never let your fear come into your way whenever you are trying something new.
