This is a young leopard I had the privilege of watching - play with its baby warthog dinner for about 45min in the veld of Kruger National Park, South Africa. Beyond the initial flurry of feelings of sadness for the baby whose life was cut short - to never get the pleasure of routing out some kind of ferraty den, or sharpen its horns on the bark of an acaicia tree (i'm totally making it up here) Or the sadness of the mother who would be viscerally keening for her babe as I watched.
Beyond the fast thoughts of Oh...the cycle of life.....(pontificate pontificate...)

thinking and feeling stopped

and I was entranced

entranced by the unabashed,

unashamed,

bodybeing beauty of the leopard

being beauty in body

beautifully embodying its being

even in writing this - I am trying to give power through narrative an experience.

It was however that which was beneath words that I felt a current of power concept only dimly alludes to.

May this photo empower you to bob down into the beauty of your own body being today:))

I mean it's monday - we all need some beauty
