Litchi is a delicious and popular fruit. The demand for this fruit is very high all over the world, especially in the Asian countries. That is why the demand for litchi tree is much higher. Many people plant litchi trees in their backyards or create litchi gardens. Hope you have eaten litchi and have an idea about the taste of litchi fruit and litchi fruit. Litchi seedlings can be made in different ways. Seedlings can be made from litchi tree branches and seedlings can be made from seeds. Making litchi seedlings from seed takes many more years to catch litchi from those four litchi trees, so I prefer to make seedlings from tree branches.
We have a few litchi trees. I thought of making some more litchi seedlings from those litchi trees and made a plan. I chose some good branches of the litchi tree, which I could later transform into new trees.
First I picked up the bark on a certain part of the tree branches.
Next you have to cover those places with mud just like you can see in the picture.
And this whole place has to be wrapped nicely with polythene so that no air can enter inside. You have to leave it like this for a month and you have to observe it from many times. After a few days new roots will sprout from this place and if the root sprouts in the whole place, the branch should be cut and planted in another place.
This is an easy way to make litchi seedlings. If you have a litchi tree and you want to make new seedlings from that tree, you can use this method. I used this method to make several litchi saplings and planted them. Those trees have grown now.
