Yes! #Singapore is known to be the most expensive city in the world according to The Economist Intelligence Unit. Errrr, Cut that out, don鈥檛 let that hold you from planning a trip in the Lion City. And ill tell you, it鈥檚 all worth it.
I travelled Singapore for the first time and like you I have doubts if I can survive without getting broke.
First, you have to check online and book ahead for cheap accomodations before your planned trip. You may check through online booking sites that offer huge discounts. 馃憤馃徎
#tips101 make sure to book hotel or hostels that are near to MRT stations. If your planning to use MRT as your mode of transpo while in SG.
For Wifi/internet connection, in our case we didnt purchase or rented wifi router or simcard with internet. #Tips101 We rely mostly on the free internet 馃槀馃槀馃槀 we just ensure to download offline Map incase you cannot connect to their free internet.
Next, we didnt booked SG pass during the tour. Instead we used MRT and get tickets in every station.
#tips101 if you鈥檙e only planning to stay in Singapore for 3-5 days and planned to cross country.I dont recommend SG pass (unlimited bus/MRT/LRT ride). You can purchase Passes in the airport at around 25-28 SGD plus security deposit of 10 SGD (which can be refunded once you return the card)And for me it鈥檚 too expensive and not convenient since we planned to go to KL after SG. 馃槀 (i am budget orriented traveler thou). You can just ride MRT then just walk to your desired destination. Trust me Its healthier! 馃槈
Tourist attraction, you may also booked entrances online if you want to escape long lines or just go their and get your ticket its up to you. #tips101 there are tourist destinations where you can enjoy the attractions and take pictures for free.
You may opt to do more activities while in the #LionCity. And you can include food trips too!
Don鈥檛 worry you can find budget meals for as low as 2 SGD that will surely satisfy your food cravings!
I can鈥檛 remember the stalls and places where we eat. But i鈥檒l try to remember and add it here next time. Enjoy your #Singapura trip! 馃槉
