As the name implies, a single insect likes to put eggs and larvae in rotting meat. They can also live on animal carcasses. Their size varies from 6 to 14 millimeters. There is a dark line extending across its body which is visible to the naked eye light gray. The meat they choose is not only land animals, but also fish meat from the sea. The types of diseases transmitted by these animals are bacillus leprosy and intestinal pseudomyiasis. These flies carry the eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides and Trichuris worms. These flies are common in markets and open-air stalls, on meat, trash and dirt, but rarely enter homes..
