34-year old, Zhou Yi is a Chinese Patissier, and the first of his kind in Chinese history who won three gold decorations and two bronze awards at the world's biggest cake rivalry held in UK.
Zhou's choice making of 'Woman in the Palace'- a complex fondant cake including Empress Wu Zetian won the best prize at the cake rivalry in Birmingham.
"I initially needed to make a Chinese sovereign figure, at that point I thought adding some female quality to this picture may be awesome," Zhou said. "That is the means by which I concocted the Wu Zetian thought."
Another cake 'Lie Drunk in Nepenthic Land' won a bronze metal regardless of the faithful diligent work put into it on the grounds that the cake's outside layer was too thick to cut, which was really against the principles of the opposition.
