Major League Baseball is developing its own collectible crypto game for Ethereum. The league is hoping the game will help to combat plummeting ratings and attendance, probably because it’s baseball, and will launch it later this summer.
Decentraland To Develop Team Strategy Game

Blockchain platform Decentraland has announced that they will be developing XOM-8: Scrapyard Escape, a co-op strategy game.Players must contribute the chain’s MANA token in order to play; the MANA is then used as a prize pool, to be split amongst the winning teams. There’s robots, spaceships, and epic battles, and the project will be entirely open-source.
Ledger Nano S Adds Tron App

Partnership: Nebulas & Egretia

Nebulas will partner with Egretia, which calls itself the “world’s first” (what did I tell you yesterday?) HTML5 blockchain, in a “strategic cooperation” that will focus on the development of games, communities, and content delivery platforms. They will seek to strengthen existing blockchain infrastructure and promote mainstream use cases.

For the third time (1, 2) in our Steemit news’s young life, it is this writer’s absolute pleasure to report on another coalition of crime-fighting crypto warriors. The latest supergroup of fearless crusaders comes from recently-hacked Bancor, whose “crypto defenders” - I didn’t make that up, that’s what they’re actually called - will “collaborate on mechanisms to warn and assist each other in times of peril” (quickly! to the BATmobile!) and work together to increase communication and cooperation in the event of another attack. (Copious amounts of) laughter aside, streamlined safety tools is a good next step. And make sure to check your Cap’n Crunch boxes for Crypto Defenders decoder rings.
Brave Hits 3 Million Users

The Brave browser has passed 3 million users, according to a press release on its official website. The Android browser also landed on the top 10 "free communication apps" list for the Google Play Store in over 20 countries, including the U.S.
Russian Indictment Names Bitcoin

Ten Russian citizens have been indicted on several charges related to the 2016 U.S. Presidential election, including one for money laundering using cryptocurrencies. The indictment alleges that equipment and assets used to hack into American computer systems, like servers and domain names, were purchased with bitcoin and processed through U.S. financial centers. Relevant charges start on page 21.
