So far all I've done is plant, water, harvest and smoke :). I've smoked all the BUDS I got (one of the three tokens of the game) to level up my avatar. But you can do more things with the BUDS like selling them :). The other two tokens are HKWATER used to water the plants and MOTA with which you can get seeds. At the moment I don't have MOTA. These three tokens BUDS, MOTA and HKWATER can be bought and sold.
