The fleece of just one sheep can be spun to produce a strand of wool approximately 125 miles (200 KM) long.
The picture shown is of the wool sheep we had several years ago. After shearing them for two years, we gave up and got hair sheep. This was not the only reason, but shearing sheep is too much work. In order to get top dollar for wool, shearing must be done correctly and we are amateurs. Today we have one ram, two ewes, and three lambs (2 ewes, 1 ram). We are off to a good start to grow our herd.
Have a great day! Every comment is up-voted and thanks for your up-vote, Tim and Joann
