After creating a title clip, the Title Editor gives you everything you need to design text for your video.
Start by typing your text and selecting it. From there, you can change the font, adjust the size, and choose a color that matches your project's style. If you want the text to stand out against the background, you can add an outline or a shadow to improve readability.
You can also position the text anywhere on the screen by dragging it with your mouse. Alignment tools make it easy to center the text or place it neatly along the edges of the frame.
The Title Editor is not limited to plain text. You can add multiple text boxes, insert shapes, and even include images or logos in the same title clip. This makes it useful for creating opening titles, lower thirds, credits, and simple motion graphics without leaving Kdenlive.
Once you are happy with the design, save the title and drag it from the Project Bin onto your timeline. Like any other clip, you can trim its duration, move it to another track, or add transitions and effects.
Although the Title Editor is simple to use, it is capable of creating clean and professional looking titles for most editing projects.
