I'm back with another recipe for you guys! These cinnamon cookies are seriously so good-you have to give them a try!
I adapted a recipe from CakeWhiz (https://cakewhiz.com/cinnamon-crinkle-cookies/) and made a little cinnamon frosting to go on them. Mine turned out almost like a shortbread consistency (I'm not very skilled in measuring ingredients), so they pair perfectly with coffee or cider.
Just whip up her dough recipe, chill it in the fridge for about an hour, drop them onto a cookie sheet, and bake for about ten minutes. Experiment with cooking times to see what you like. I overcooked some of mine and they turned out kind of dry.... kinda liked it kinda didn't.
Also be super careful as you're getting everything together. I dropped my flour container and had to clean up this lovely mess at 1:00 a.m.
If you're feeling like making them just a bit more sweet, feel free to throw together a little cinnamon icing. I just mixed some softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
These are soooo good. I literally grab one every time I'm near my kitchen. Let me know how the recipe goes for you!
