Two days before I was reading a story of a cat that made me really cry. The most people and mostly teenagers think cats dont have emotions. They are animals who care only about food and shelter. But that what everyone of us also does, isnt it?! Everything that is alive on this planet is looking for food and shelter. A place to feel safe and feel loved. And whoever gives us the love gets it in return, because thats the way our universe works.
To make it short! The story was about a cat that his owner gave him up for a new sofa. A cat who lived with that family since he was three months old, had to live because of a new sofa. He was depressed and confused. Stopped eating and drinking until they had to put him to sleep. I had to think about that cat and wish I could be in USA at that time to rescue him, but I think it is too late. He decided to commit suicide, because his owner left him. The new owner and the rescue team tried their best to keep him alive, until they finally realized that he isnt willing to stay alive despite all the love he got in his last days.
Cats are like humans. They love the way we do and care the way we do. They get attached to us like we get attached to them. If anyone of us decides to have a pet, should never leave it for whatever reason. A pet is part of the family and deserves our love and care for eternity...
