I found an absolute treasure while I was on break. Attack on Titan has been airing for over 10 years now and it's been such a long ride. I can't believe we were teased with another part 2 season. I am patiently waiting though. This has been such a roller coaster ride with all the twists and turns and payoffs that took years to reveal.
It's no stretch to call this the best show in a decade is an understatement. I found some great sketches from the early days of my art development while I was away from social media. I had so much fun during that experimental period and I believe some of my best work comes from those more experimental pieces. The armored titan at the beginning of the show seemed like a real challenge for Erin to get past.
We definitely got to see how he progressed and finally began to kick Reiner's butt on every encounter. I usually don't use too much color, but that is what makes this piece so experimental for me. The layering was all done digitally; I'm not a big fan of using computers in drawing, but I would rather use 100% pen to the pad on my art. Though I will have to produce more digital art. It's been so long that I can't remember which program I used for this, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm sure I could do even better now, though. I
