COMEX gold hit a high last night $1564.95 breaking out of the range that has dominated the market for the past few weeks. Just as quickly as gold broke out it got smacked back down into the top of the range.
The HUI also hit a new high for this rally and then quickly sold off.
BUT there was no smack down on silver.
Silver had a nice rally today.
