Dang that is alot of coins! Yes and then no. See I did pick up another Buffalo Round, and then as I was putting the coin away I realized that I had a nice little stack of these rounds.
So instead of showing the same coin as I did last week I decided to show off the entire collection of Buffalo Rounds that I have acquired this past year.
The Rounds are still cheaper than the American junk silver, which I find rather interesting. Apparently, there are more buyers of American junk silver causing the premiums to flip.
So I decided to check out APMEX (https://www.apmex.com/category/25830/90-silver-coins-rolls-bags-all) price to see if this is just a local thing or more of a national phenomenon. So for Four Quarters the price is $28.23.
And the answer of the question what is the price per ounce for American Junk Silver is . . . . .
Yikes! Now in all fairness if you were to order 50 silver dimes the price per ounce drops to $28.81. The price at APMEX for the Buffalo Round is $27.85. So buying the silver rounds is cheaper at APMEX by the same amount as my local coin store.
So that is interesting to me. I wonder if more Americans prefer the junk Silver because it is Legal Tender issued by the United States Treasury?
What do you think?
Peace out and Stack on!
I should mention a little something about the the mining stocks.
The Battle of the 252.43 level continues. In fact on Monday 10/18/2021 the HUI CLOSED at 252.42, good stuff right? So the BULLS are trying to mount a rally and the next target level is 263.58. We shall see what the next week brings us. The BEARS seek to drive the HUI back below the 252.43 level.
So there you have it peace out and stack on!
