I don't trade crypto but I can read a chart. The trend is DOWN. BTC is trading below the 18 day moving average which I read as a negative. The stochastic is coming out of a overbought territory from an embedded reading which is a negative. Yesterday the 100 day average did act as resistance so from a chart perspective, yes I think the trend is down so another sell off is certainly on the table.
How low? It all depends on whether yesterday's low holds. If it holds then we see consolidation with sideways trading. If it does not hold then the Lower Bollinger band is the target area.
Again, I do not trade crypto, my goal is to stack it off the exchange in my hard wallet.
Right now I do not see anything on this chart that screams BUY ME NOW!
I am looking to enter when it reaches an oversold position or at least when the stochastics turn up.
Again I do not trade cryptos BUT if this was a gold mining stock which I do trade, I would be looking to go short.
All markets have their own "feel" and "rhythm", when it comes to crypto I have no sense of that so I can only read the chart.
What do you see?
