We got that real nice "break out" action on the 21st of December. Afterwards silver has traded mostly sideways while maintaining the $26 plus per ounce price. On the technical chart silver is trading as to be expected.
The upper Bollinger band is acting as resistance. The 18 day moving average is rising and closing in on the 100 day moving average. IF silver is ready to make a "run" the 18 day average should cross over the 100 day moving average. The stochastic has come out of overbought territory and is sitting in a neutral position.
This week is likely to be a rather slow one as the markets will be closed on Friday for New Years Day.
Enough of the paper stuff!
Picked up a little more of the shiny stuff, two American Eagles. I did actually pay way too much for one of them a 2020.
I usually do not care about the dates BUT since the design is going to be changed in 2021 AND this has been a very memorable year (for better or worse) I went ahead and trade a little more fiat than I normally do for silver coins.
Gold is meandering about waiting for direction.
And the miners ain't looking so good right now. Looks like they will end the year in a sideways sort of way.
Peace out and stack on!
