Hello Hivers! I think I am now enjoying blogging here!How about you?This is my 5th blog so far and I am proud to be here up to this point.lol!
Looking into the farm itself and me as a farmer you will find it amazing, refreshing and you will think I am enjoying. Yes, of course I am. But wait, there is more! I will be sharing to you in this blog what you really need to expect when you say,farm, farming and harvesting.
In farming, being sensitive and being "maarte" (overacting) is no room. You will get scratches, athlete's foot, skin discoloration etc that could make you ugly.lol!
At this point, I already got those! But getting ugly is not my objective in farming! I do farming out of passion and for living. Being an ugly is a choice and I have my own remedy not to.
Scratches, being burn under the heat of the sun, discoloration, skin allergies etc will always be part of farming but being an ugly is an option as a farmer. Expect to have setbacks but always think of the remedies. Don't settle for the standard of being what is meant to be but make a change.
Of course, aside from those things that could make you ugly, here is the best thing in farming.
The harvest time that you can bring food on your table at the same time you can sell some to buy other home commodities.
The experience and learnings you learn along the process. Experience is most expensive one in farming. You will invest time, energy, effort and of course money.
All your senses will be used up in farming. You need to be observant because there are lives you need to take good care of. The moment you neglect something, the life of your livestock might be put on stake.
Reading materials, videos, lectures and other learning modality can help or can guide but the real story is up to you to apply and discover everything.
To sum it up, whooahh!!Farming is not that easy as you think. There is no such thing as comparison with other career. In farming, there in no certain job description that could completely define it. All I can say is, if you want consistency, try to farm!!
I have so much to write because in farming, there is no boring or lean time. I drafted this blog for almost a week but please bear with me because I am a proud farmer.
