Greetings to all hustling Hivers, Mabuhay!! Kamusta?(How are you doing?) Recently, the rain is constantly pouring here in the Philippines. Let us keep dry and safe while reading my blog.

Meet the man behind the farm, my husband! I can't do everything in the farm especially the thing that needs a physical strength just like making or building the cages and poultry house. I am so blessed that we are partners in this field. We share the same passion and interests so the spark is on!hahaha.

He does the morning chores before going to work. He needs to wake up as early as 4:00am everyday to prepare and be in the farm at 5:00am. 6:00 am is his working time in the water pumping station. The rest of the day is my responsibility.

Fasten your seatbelt and witness the responsibility that I am talking!

My time starts at 9:00am in the farm and it always starts in the incubator. I always check the calendar beside it if there is something I need to do with the eggs like candling or need to transfer in the hatcher. Time to change the water also and check the temperature and humidity stability before leaving the area.

I headed to the breeder'a area to check the nesting hens if there are hatching eggs at around 9:45am. Inspection of the other nest if there are newly laid eggs for harvest to incubate.

At 10:30am, I need to go to hog's area. I wash them and clean the area too. After cleaning and washing, I feed them for their lunch.

At 11:30am,I go back to the poultry to feed the chickens there for breeder's nursery's and grower area. Then wash all the waterer and refill it with new and fresh water.

In times of hatching eggs, I need to prepare the brooder cage for the transfer of the newly hatched chicks. It might be from the nesting Mama hens or from the hatcher of the incubator. This will took some of my time.

I can finally have my lunch break at 1:30pm. This is not the normal time for my meal but because of the hatching eggs,it took the regular time for my lunch. I usually eat my lunch at 12:30pm.

After my lunch, I have to take a quick rest of have my siesta time. I normally take a nap unless there are things need to rush that can't wait until 2am. While having a rest, I grab the opportunity to draft my blog to post or some picture or video editing for other online projects like reels, appics, actifit, updating my fb page etc.

Time to clean the breeder's area. I grab this opportunity to inspect the nests if there were newly laid eggs to collect or harvest and store them on the trays to incubate until I collected enough like 10-13 eggs for 1 batch to load in incubator.

Before 3pm, feeding time again for everyone (chickens and hogs). For hogs, I clean and wash the area again because as expected there are poop or pee.

I started at the incubator and I will close my activity here in the incubator. Before leaving the farm, I always check the temp and the humidity. At the same time the eggs inside if it rolled as scheduled.

I started to leave the farm and head to the shop. Our shop is just a 10 minutes walk away so I just walk to be there.

My duty to man the shop started at 4:30pm until 6:00 pm. My husband will drop by to fetch me to go back to the farm for final inspection. He will switch on the lights for the whole area and roam around to secure everything before we leave.

Do you think, my day ended at 6pm? Of course no. My day will surely be extended until 9:pm. I am a mother too and needs some family time during dinner until sleeping time.

It is always been a long day for me and my husband. This is our normal days. We missed lot of outside life but we believe that all of it will be paid off someday soon. In God's time we will reap our hard work.

I will end my blog at this point because I am so sleepy and tomorrow is Saturday and I need to be early than the usual schedule because Vine is taking her day off from the shop.

Thank you for being with me and to all hivers who keeps on supporting my blogs.

Be reminded of this verse :
For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.
Colossians 1:13‭-‬14 NLT
