Hello Friends,
It is always said that in difficult times, one wants to do more and more forbidden things. This is one of the biggest traits of human beings, because it encourages us to break the rules. Since the lockdown is currently going on in our city and so far 160 people have died in our country, most of whom were living in the city again. As a result, more restrictions have been imposed on the city. One of them is that prayers cannot be offered in the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. This means outside worshipers have been warned to participate in the congregational prayers.
Why did I talk about Baitul Mukarram, because now is the month of Ramadan. And this month I used to pray more at our national mosque Baitul Mukarram. Because it's not too far from my home. Moreover, one can enjoy a kind of joy in praying with a large number of people, one can find a kind of inspiration in oneself. This is why I like to pray where there are more people present. But last year I got that opportunity in the month of Ramadan. This year I am in complete contrast. So far there has been no opportunity to prayers.
That is why the National Mosque is being remembered a lot this year. But it's just that I'm not interested in going there to pray. Because most of the people like me who live in Dhaka come to this mosque on Friday to perform Jummah prayers. I remember when I was little, I used to come here to pray with all the acquaintances of the area, I used to come back home with a great feeling.
But before it became the national mosque of Bangladesh, our national mosque was Anderkilla Mosque in Chittagong, it is also very nice to see. I had the opportunity to travel. Later, Baitul Mukarram Mosque in Dhaka was declared the National Mosque. Baitul Mukarram Mosque was established in 1960 with a large unit. Although its architecture was somewhat different in the beginning, its architectural design has changed a lot through the present reforms.
It happens not only in our country, but in most of the countries of the world that, in order to keep pace with modernity, many installations are enlarged and modified. However, the old design seemed more interesting to me than the current design. This looked more beautiful from a distance. However, in the current situation, there is less opportunity to see something from a distance.
However, I am sharing with you some pictures of our national mosque Baitul Mukarram with nice designs from the memory page. I hope you enjoy the photographs.
