In my previous post, I talked about some issues with my car. The A/C problem was fixed on Friday evening. But the car's window issue wasn't. As we are getting rain almost daily, and there is no covering in the car parking area, it was important to fix the window ASAP. I contacted a mechanic on Friday evening regarding the window fix, and I was asked to go to the garage on Saturday morning. As my duty would start at 8:30 am, I went to the garage at around 7:20 am. The mechanic discovered that an essential plastic piece was broken. Only that part wouldn't be available anywhere. Either I had to get it from the old car, or I had to buy the whole set, costing more money! I asked him, who is one of the patients too, to try to get an old one from somewhere! In the meantime, he fixed the car window (permanently for the time being) with a wire so that rainwater wouldn't go inside!
At work, I consulted 18 patients in my chamber. Like the previous Saturdays, I worked as a relieving doctor in another clinic. There is no visa medical section. Hence, no fitness test examination!
On Saturday afternoon, when I was driving to work, it started raining heavily! The windshield wipers were old. Hence, they couldn't clear the windshield properly. It was somewhat difficult to drive in heavy rain. We don't get such heavy rain every day. Hence, it was not a regular thing for me to drive in such circumstances. Alhamdulillah, I reached my work safely!
After lunch, I could walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes. It helped me reach 7k steps on Saturday. Those steps earned me 0.17 $SWEAT!
