It's well know the things we learn in our childhood is something that we can never forget and our childhood memories becomes our permanent memories.

If i tries to find out something from collection of my childhood/ permanent memories i always find some sort of toys or cartoon characters that i had fond of buying but never bought.

Since i have started doing my own shopping my first focus is always on cartoon characters and soft toys. They are cute isn't it?

Today on this sunday i have planned to make Mickey mouse with air dry clay, which was my most favorite cartoon. And i have tried it on my home's wall too.
I was just 15bor maybe 16 when i made spongebob on wall, even i didn't had colors.
I bought only three colors, yellow, black and white for making that spongebob and it was about 4 feet in length.

Trust me i have destroyed that wall😂 but still that wall is my all time favorite.

So without wasting time, let's move towards procedure...

Material

  • Pack of airdry clay
  • Clay tools
  • Scissors
  • Cutter

Procedure

I have started making Mickey mouse by making his lower body before his face, for making that i have used red clay and molded it in the shape of avocado and then added two small circles on the larger side for making legs.

After that i have used yellow clay for making his shoes. Mickey mouse mostly wears kind of bigger shoes so make two cirlce and shape them into shoes design.

After that i have attached shoes with the legs. For making legs i have used black clay and i have also attached a thin wire in legs so the character will stand easily.

After that i have made hands of the Mickey mouse with white clay and i have also attached black clay to red for completing dress of Mickey mouse.

To finish the Lower body i have attached arms to the gloves and then to the body. I have fixed thin wire in arms too so they will not move easily.

In last step i have made head of the Mickey mouse where first i have used black clay for base and then attached skin color clay to it for face. Then attached black clay for nose and white clay for eyes.
For making ears i used black clay and shaped it in a circle then fixed it to the head of Mickey mouse.

And here's the final result 👇
