Hello steemians,
Its been a busy work loaded week,I've had little or no sleep, hence the bags under my eyes, but allow me to share something interesting with you that i learned.
Today, on my way to work, as i dropped from the cab beginning a short walk to my office.
I was tired and fatigued, so i decided to indulged in a little fun.
I noticed some persons walking in front of me trying to get to where ever they were going to, i began a walk race with them oblivious to this fact of cause , you could tell my excitement by the wide smile i wore on my face as i walked pass a lot of persons.
I was already close to my junction when i passed the last person and i was in the lead.... I was grinning so hard that my cheek hurt. I stopped walking fast seeing that i was now in front of everyone in my lane.
I relaxed and became more comfortable.
Shortly, just before my stop, a guy walked past me and fist bumped the air grinning to himself.
Just then i realised how much of a competition life is, daily, we compete with man and time. Whether we are conscious of this or not, there's always someone striving to be better than we are.
So they key is staying in the lead is to set compete against ourselves, pushing further and beating our self acquired records relentlessly.
