I was looking for a short cut from city center Bilbao to the hostel! And the one route went around San Mamés Stadium of the Athletic Bilbao football club!
I wanted to go this route because it went along the water of the Nervión river!
This is the stadium and an office building next to it! i like the contrast between the two! But there is more contrast! If you walk down the stairs at the back of the stadium you enter a very old part of town!
But first wait until that one man is walking down the stairs! I like these two pictures very much! Its just building and one man!
I am not a soccer van but I thought that those stadiums were always build in and around industrial areas! At least they are in the Netherlands! At the other side of the road the housing is starting!
What do you think that instrument is for? Could it be an decibel meter? It's pointing straigt to the stadium!

This was an old rail road track! So close to the houses!
I think it's some kind of commercial advertisement, but I love the simplicity of this! Maby any buddy over here know's what it means?
