I personally feel like the weather definitely has become more extreme within the last years. (greater heat, greater cold,...)
Since I'm not an expert in that matter I can't say if weather like this in september is something that just happens from time to time or if it's a clear result of climate change.

One thing I can say about it, though, is that I don't like it at all. I could very much use a few more weeks of summer.
