저게 뭐더라.?
어디에서 많이 본 듯한 모습이 눈앞에 펼쳐져 있습니다.
그것은 바탕화면이었다. 내 컴퓨터의 바탕화면이 눈앞에 나타난 것입니다.
바람이 다듬은 선 고운 언덕, 완곡한 에스라인의
푸른 초원과 파란 물이 뚝뚝 떨어질 것 같은 하늘,
그리고 흰구름. 나는 그 바탕화면을 좋아합니다.
푸른 초원과 파란 하늘 그리고 흰구름이 조화를
이루고 있는 단순함으로 되돌아와 잠시나마
눈과 마음의 쉼을 얻곤 했습니다.
What was that?
You can see a lot of them in front of you.
It was the desktop. My computer's desktop is in front of my eyes.
A wind-drawn, fine hill
The blue meadows and the blue sky is dripping
And white clouds. I like that desktop.

내 삶의 바탕화면은 무엇일까.
이 시간 저 자신에게도 같은 질문을 던져봅니다.
탁 트인 푸른 초원, 맑고 푸른 하늘, 흰구름의 모습일까,
아니면 검은 땅, 흐린 하늘, 탁한 먹구름의 모습일까?
누구든 찾아와도 어머님 품처럼 따뜻한 곳일까,
열 때마다 얼음처럼 차갑고 메마른 곳일까?
사람은 누구나 바탕화면이 있습니다.
그가 하는 말, 몸짓, 발걸음 하나에
얼핏얼핏 투영되어 나타납니다.
What is the background of my life?
Now, I ask myself the same question at this point in time.
Is it the appearance of an open green pasture, clear blue sky, and white clouds?
Or is it the black land, the cloudy sky, or the murky sky?
I wonder if anyone who comes to visit is as warm as my mother's.
Is it cold and dry as ice every time it opens?
