So. A brief introduction.
My name is Alessandro Ricco'. I am italian, forty-six and working in software development. A political activist and also an anti-fascist, and it irks me that the latter is not something we can take for granted today.
Other social media I follow (same handle) are Twitter and G+. I am giving Steemit a chance, largely because I approve the principle of rewarding users for their contributions to the community. Though I am not actively pursuing those rewards myself. Whether I stay longer than a few months, will depend on finding and following quality content.
That said, let me go over what kind of material you can expect me to appreciate and share.
I have a passion for role-playing games; I have been playing non-stop for the last thirty-three years. I am not keeping an exact count of how many different rpgs I have purchased, but it's easily three digits. If you published stuff, it is not implausible I am one of your customers.
I kind of dislike a few notorious rules systems and of course my opinions are always most correct. Some other titles, I fell in love with, for example Amber Diceless, Ars Magica, Burning Wheel, Shahida, Unknown Armies. Right this moment I'm using Urban Shadows and Runequest.
I have taken part in three Game Chefs so far. Writing original rules is a very fun challenge, but admittedly it is hard for me to find the time and energy it requires.
In recent times I have taken up larping. A bit expensive, but it can be very fun and the european scene is rich of excellent organizers. Every year I try to get into a couple of promising events.
Other hobbies of mine include tabletop games, wargames, videogames. And I read a lot--manga, comics and books. A few titles I am dallying with this month are Gloomhaven, World in Flames, Ni no Kuni 2, Otoyomegatari, Finder: Third World, Ninefox Gambit.
