I was in a hurry earlier during in the lunch time had to go to Costco to get some shopping that we needed for the weekend. We are going to host two different events. Saturday, a farewell for my daughter's best friend who is moving to Edmonton,n and on Sunday, the Brazil match from the FIFA World Cup. Since the weekend is busy and we need at least Pizza, for the Sunday event, I spent lunchtime doing the travel and trying to get back as soon as possible to work. But that happened! I was almost home, and a deer just crossed the road in front of me like the video shows.
I was lucky but also reacted fast. It isn't always that we have luck like that. Not too long ago, I saw a bad accident with a deer crossing a main highway that cuts through our town. It was so bad that the car had the front bumper destroyed, yed and the deer was on the other side of the highway, of course, not in the living world anymore. As you can see, my main problem is that the main road that I use is divided into two, with trees and plants dividing the way; well, if a deer just comes running from the other direction of the road, it is very difficult to see before getting too close to the car.
But only my heart almost had a heart attack; the rest was fine,e even the deer was ok for now at least. At least to conclude the lucky day, I stopped by McDonald's and decided to buy the Offer that comes with the World Cup-themed plastic cups that they are selling. By the way, they are so smart. They announce in the app that the offer with the cup is 15 CA, D but this is the price of the McChicken; if you want a Big Mac,ac you need to add 80 cents, and a Quarter Pounder more than 1.80 CAD, and so on. By the way, a regular McMeal of Big Mac and McChicken usually costs the same, around 10 CAD. So I got the McChicken. My kids wanted this WC plastic cup so badly, but it is ok for me to go with McChicken.
In the end, they gave me two cups instead of only one. Which I couldn't complain, since I have two daughters if I had brought only one, I would have had to manage the turns of when and how which one of them would have to use it. But they gave me two, which saves me a lot of stress at home. And in the end, from all the models I got the best ones, at least for me. Thierry Henry and the incredible "bruxo" Ronaldinho. Well, my daughter will complain because probably she wanted Alphonso Davies, but who knows soccer (football) knows that Davies won't get near to these other two players.

Mais cedo, na hora do almoço, eu estava com pressa, precisava ir ao Costco comprar algumas coisas para o fim de semana. Vamos ter dois eventos diferentes. No sábado, uma despedida para a melhor amiga da minha filha, que está se mudando para Edmonton, e no domingo, o jogo do Brasil pela Copa do Mundo da FIFA. Como o fim de semana é corrido e precisamos de pelo menos pizza para o evento de domingo, passei a hora do almoço viajando e tentando voltar o mais rápido possível para o trabalho. Mas aconteceu! Eu estava quase chegando em casa quando um cervo atravessou a estrada na minha frente, como mostra o vídeo.
Tive sorte, mas também reagi rápido. Nem sempre temos essa sorte. Não faz muito tempo, vi um acidente feio com um cervo atravessando uma rodovia principal que corta nossa cidade. Foi tão grave que o para-choque dianteiro do carro ficou destruído e o cervo estava do outro lado da rodovia, claro, já sem vida. Como vocês podem ver, meu principal problema é que a estrada principal que eu uso é dividida em duas por árvores e plantas; bem, se um cervo vier correndo na direção oposta, é muito difícil vê-lo antes de chegar muito perto do carro.
Mas só meu coração quase teve um ataque cardíaco; o resto estava bem, até o cervo estava ok, pelo menos por enquanto. Para concluir o dia de sorte, parei no McDonald's e decidi comprar a oferta que vem com os copos de plástico temáticos da Copa do Mundo que eles estão vendendo. Aliás, eles são muito espertos. Eles anunciam no aplicativo que a oferta com o copo custa 15 dólares canadenses, mas esse é o preço do McChicken; se você quiser um Big Mac, precisa adicionar 80 centavos, e um Quarter Pounder mais de 1,80 dólar canadense, e assim por diante. Aliás, um McMeal normal de Big Mac e McChicken geralmente custa o mesmo, em torno de 10 dólares canadenses. Então, peguei o McChicken. Meus filhos queriam muito esse copo de plástico da WC, mas para mim está ótimo o da McChicken.
No fim, me deram dois copos em vez de um. Não posso reclamar, já que tenho duas filhas e se tivesse comprado só um, teria que ficar me revezando para ver quem usaria e quando. Mas me deram dois, o que me poupou muito estresse em casa. E no final, de todos os modelos, escolhi os melhores, pelo menos para mim: o do Thierry Henry e o do incrível "bruxo" Ronaldinho. Bem, minha filha vai reclamar porque provavelmente queria o do Alphonso Davies, mas quem entende de futebol sabe que o Davies não chega nem perto desses outros dois jogadores.
