Going to a small high school like I did, teachers often taught multiple classes and multiple grade levels. This led to things like me having the same teacher for; Algebra 1, which I took in 8th grade, Algebra 2, trig and calculus. One of his sayings was "A blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes".
Such is the case with Trump's tax plan; for the first time in a few years, I get a refund. This likely has to do with my student loan interest or a job that was for half of 2017 a contractor position being a part-time for the 9 months I had the job in 2018.
A lot of the money is going into the bank to be a down payment on a car that I hope to get in December. A bit more will probably be for a mattress as the one I have is sagging. I do hope to maybe invest a bit of it in crypto. I have wanted to do this since I won a Bitcoin wallet in 2017. My plan is to put $100 or so into a currency like Ethereum and kind of "Let it ride" and then each month play with $30 or so. Every 3 months, I'll evaluate and adjust.
It also looks like I'll be looking at an upgraded tablet. The one I have currently is somewhat out of date and is also unable to run the apps I would need to install to experiment with the mobile hacker's tool. I plan to try and keep that money local if I can by checking out a local shop.
