Tournament Play
Form a long time I have not participated in Tournament, yes in past also participation was also not too much. I love to play in Brawl and love the SPs and Merits rewards form the brawl winning. Just for excitement I try the Modern format of ranked pay and found that the New rewards summoners (with Conscript ability which enable them to summon the Gladius cards) cards with the Gladius cards are unbeatable. I played few battles and it was more 100% win. I know I was playing in Novice league and the opponents were not much experienced but this gives me the confidence and I decide to participate in tournaments.
I checked the Event tab and gone through the schedule and find some tournaments suitable to my collection but I prefer to start with Novice league and anytime tournaments. "Anytime tournaments" has big advantage that the player are not bounded to the time they can submit the team anytime between the defined time slot, which is suitable for players like me who also has real world activates to do.
Participated in below two tournaments
- Beginners Training Tournament
- Sacred Hard Novice Beginners Training Tournament
Results
For Beginners Training Tournament the participation fee was 5 DEC and if played secured position within 100th place their was no loos as the rewards were also 5 DEC in game wallet + 5 DEC in Cryptogammers Lightning Wallet. To be honest I have not tried the Cryptogammers Lightning Wallet so for me it was no loos no gain situation of I was in top 100th.
I played all the battles and out of 18 won the 8 and lost 10 no of battles so the winning ratio was less then 50% but the good thing was I was able to be in top 100 lol so got my investment back.
For Sacred Hard Novice Beginners Training the participation fee was 5 DEC and if played secured position within 256th place their was no loos as the rewards were also 5 DEC in game wallet.
The performance was better in this tournament as the wining ratio was more then 50%. Played all battles which were 21 number and won 12 battles and lost 9 number. With 36 PTS I was on 39th position and received 3.125 SPS as price. Which were fa better then the invested 5 DEC. so overall this tournament was profitable.
I found that for the high mana cards the New reward summoners with Gladius cards were awesome and perform like anything. As I was paying in Novice I required low lave cards only which were available in my collection. I am upgrading the summoner and some of the cards also but it will take time to reach those cards to level 4 or 5.
