Another month of 2023 has passed and Its time to participate in the #LPUD of the month of August/2023. Lately, I have been focusing more on growing my Hive Power and to be Dolphin status soon and also working toward the Leo staking to upgrade my CUB to the next rank of Lion . You can check your pride rank by referring the below pic.
On every 15th of the month we power up $LEO token and increase our LEO power or Leo staking. The staking means we locked the token for certain time to enrich the ecosystem and sustainable purposes and this increase our influence in LeoFinance ecosystem. The power up increase our curation reward which we may use to support other wonderful posts on platform. The Leo Power Up Day. which is in short known as LPUD. The 
CUB ATTACK

Its really a nice move by the team which make the contest easy for everyone. For the CUB Attack the participant must stake at least 50 LEO and for the LION Attach their is a minimum requirement of 150 leo staking on 15th of every month. With this way their is more chance for small accounts also to participate and win some delegation prices.

Their are many way you can get/earn the Leo token to get yourself prepared for the Leo Power Up Day. The first is to get the token from the secondary market like leodex or hive-engine. The second option is creating long form post and using the #leofinance tag to earn LEO through author rewards. Third option is to create the short content on ** Leo Threads** which is similar to the Twitter (X). Fourth is to engage with other community member and you will get rewarded with the upvote. Their are some contests also which reward the winners with LEO token. So you have many option, choose which suits yourself.
Threads and Communities on LeoFinance
Threads has changed a lot of thing nd mind sets of the people. The LeoFinance is not just a place for the finance, money or cryptocurrency related content, it is open foe all now. s along with the Evergreen content and Leo Add share. The platform is moving form a a specialist front-end to a generalist, like Peakd and ecency. I am sure when the mobile app will be released this will add more value and add more user base to the platform.
The Everything app which team is building will be a another game changer and show the attention of the team which is to build a place for everyone and to support the content outside the finance. To keeping the some in mind the team is rebranding the Platform, I am pretty sure this must be a hard decision as it took year to create a place and name in the eyes of the users. But as the platform is now not then just a place for finance enthusiasm users the name is not getting suited. The team has asked the community, the users to suggested a new changed Name. The team is rewarding the participants but the contest is closed now and I'm looking forward to know the name of Leofinance's new brand..
