It amazes me that today many of us are held to ransom, not only bodily but also spiritually, by religions that purport to be the truth. "It has always been the case" you might say, but there is a great movement and tendency today to refer to now as the end times and to refer to institutionalised scripture, which is subject to omissions and misinterpretations, as being a credible source for this fact. It is now seen that almost everyone who holds a position in religion presently is a prophet....there is even a youtube channel called prophecy club which seems to advocate that anyone with a message is a prophet. How untrue is this....completely. Ever since the dawn of institutionalised religion we have seen the espousal of end times which is only a bodily construct and not of the spirit which we truly are.
I am not here to knock beliefs, but I encourage people to research themselves and look at facts. We have long been in turmoil but that does not indicate the end times. It is not our purpose here to wait for our mutually assured destruction and to then gloat that as I follow a certain religion that I personally will avoid this calamity due to the fact that I adhere to a certain religion. That smacks of one upmanship and is definitely an example of, if not the definition of, pride.
Here is a short video you might appreciate on this topic:

I remember this quote from a philosophy lecture I attended. For the likes of me I cannot remember who the quote is attributed to but it does sum up my idea on this matter. I have never forgotten it.

"There used to be a tunnel that linked man directly to God. Religion came along and built a roof on that tunnel."

Let us not build roofs or be subject to our own pride. Rather let us reach out and connect with one another spiritually as the divine wants us to.

The video is by Rex Bear of the Leak Project on youtube.....big shout out to him.

Many thanks.

BE LOVE BE TRUE FOR THAT IS YOU.

:) Peace.
