The founder of IKEA and Ikano is one of the biggest entrepreneurs of the twentieth century.

IKEA was founded by Ingvar 75 years ago.
The name IKEA made Ingvar Kamprad of his own initials and of the names of the farm where he grew up (Elmtaryd) and the village where he grew up (Agunnaryd).

IKEA's success formula is aimed at lower prices because the customer assembles furniture that has been purchased in packages.
