I don't have any specific card in mind since everything is pretty expensive right now... I think you should focus on neutral cards though! Can use them in every deck. I recommend the GUDecks card rankings

Imo Jason is a bit overrated. It's good but you don't really need it to make a deck work. Demogorgon is pretty must have in ramp magic, boardwipe death and sleep deception. Pyramid Warden is great in all
