This morning, I immediately went to the rice fields to prepare the land for planting tomorrow. The morning air was fresh, dew still clung to the leaves, and the scent of wet earth gave me a sense of enthusiasm for work. I began clearing away the remaining straw and leveling the ground to prepare it for the rice seedlings. The occasional sound of birds and the trickling of water from the irrigation canal made the morning feel peaceful yet meaningful.
As noon approached, I returned home and continued sewing prayer caps (peci) for religious purposes. Orders began to increase, so I tried to finish several pieces before evening arrived. Each stitch felt like an act of worship, knowing the caps I made would be used for prayers and other religious activities.
In the afternoon, after a short rest, I returned to the rice fields to continue my work. This time, I loaded the rice seedlings into a sack and carried it to the field for planting tomorrow.
This work was quite hard, but it felt light because it was done with intention and enthusiasm. While walking along the rice field embankments, I enjoyed the view of the sunset slowly descending on the western horizon the golden light shining on the expanse of rice fields ready for planting, giving hope for a good harvest to come.
