First things first - lets have a look at - What is the PKM token all about? If you're not familiar with it, then let me tell you that the PKM token is a utility token on Hive-Engine and is distributed to PeakMonsters users as a reward. There are several ways to earn PKM tokens, one of which is by providing liquidity to the PKM - SPS Liquidity Pool on Hive-engine Here. A point to note here is that PKM:SPS has one of the best APRs across various Splinterlands related liquidity pools.. This is not the first time that I am providing liquidity to this pool. But have been here from the day 1 when PKM:SPS LP started. Check here my current status::
Till date, I have been pooling in all my PKM and SPS rewards to the LP pool and have been trying to get to a point where I have 350K+ of PKM tokens. Just an FYI.. I started with a GOAL of 150K+ PKM and after having achieved it new target for PKM has been set. There is still a long way to go as I need another 80K+ PKM and equivalent #sps tokens to be added to the LP pool. Which, I am quite confident that I should be able to get there in coming months - probably by the end of this year, 2024. I am getting close to $1+ as daily rewards and bifurcation of the rewards can be seen from the above snapshot. All these rewards are being redirected in the LP pool itself. Ideally what I am doing is all the PKM and SPS daily rewards gets added to the PKM:SPS LP. A bit on the PKM token dynamics before I end this post.
There would be only 500 Mil. PKM tokens ever minted. And most of it is going to be Airdropped i.e. 375 Mil. to users of the PeakMonsters.com marketplace. Precisely the more sales a user does on peakmonsters.com will result into a larger Rewards given to users in the form of PKM tokens. Frankly speaking I didn't do many purchases on the peakmonster portal and hence didn't get much of the PKM Airdropped. But what I did instead was entered the PKM:SPS pool from day 1 and I am earning daily LP rewards, so happy with that. Finally, I am in no rush here and will continue to build my stake here in this LP pool; PKM-SPS. Its bit sad to see #sps trading at its all time low though. So until #sps moon its a #hodl for me and continue to build my stake here. Also, I have some liquid #sps which I would be converting/swapping it for #pkm and then would add it to the LP pool. So looking ahead for a bright future with PKM tokens staked and building the stake daily. Lets see how this churns out in the long run. But for now the plan is to remain invested and keep accumulating and #HODL both #SPS and #PKM tokens for now... cheers...
