Hello to you dear reader who are dedicating your time to know me and for letting me be part of this great community, where I hope to share great experiences and express myself better through words.

My name is Guimairy, I am 27 years old, I live in Merida - Venezuela, a wonderful city with kind and educated people and in my opinion, with the best climate in Venezuela. I am currently studying medicine, something I always wanted since I was a little girl. My name is a combination of Guillermo and Maria, my parents. My two great loves, where every time I hear or write, I know that I carry a little piece of them.

I consider myself a cheerful person, always trying to see the positive things in life, being thankful for how much God has been good to me and mine. I love the outdoors, walking through the beautiful mountains that my city has. I like swimming, sleeping and reading. I am fond of series and movies. I love the beach and trips with friends. I love animals, especially dogs, because there is no more sincere and selfless love than theirs. In fact I have two little dogs that are my life. Perla is 7 years old and her baby Gema will be 1 year old this month.

I am finishing my 5th year of medical school at the Universidad de Los Andes. During this last year of internship, I have shared with great people, those who only leave you good things. In addition to the academic teachings, the personal ones have been enormous. My heart breaks every day to see so many stories and different facets of patients, but is filled with joy to know that in something, either from the therapeutic or a word of encouragement I can do something for them.

I come from a big family, my grandmother had 13 children. She was the head of the family, an admirable woman, with whom I grew up and shared all my birthday cakes (we were born on the same date), she passed away at 96 years old this 2021, I miss her very much. But she left her legacy, many uncles and many cousins, that despite the distances that separate us, the love remains the same.
