I've been thinking of this since I saw your post and we talked. It makes good sense but our limit would still be having a trusted Hive member on the ground to receive funds and organize efforts. We were successful with the DHF proposal in Ukraine because someone was there in person. Turkey we have to see who is there in person and what they can do if supported as money isn't the only solution. Hive members have done some private fundraising for disasters in Cuba and Venezuela last year and collected enough to buy the supplies that they could themselves carry. I'll tag @manuphotos here, he can explain how it was done in Cuba. Creating a fund is the easiest part of this idea as we already know how to manage one because of Value Plan.
